Signs that we're getting the hang of living in Sydney

  • We don't need to 'study' the Aussie dollar notes and coins before we pay for what we are buying
  • Banking administrative delays do not surprise us anymore
  • We can mentally visualise locations mentioned over radio traffic updates
  • We automatically swipe our own cards in the eftpos (NETS in S'pore terms) machine instead of handing it to the cashier
  • May Hsin says 'Good on you, mate!' to praise Charis for doing something well

However, whenever we think of bah chor mee, we know that this is still a long way from home. =P

Ha! We mean the food version. And we heard that Mr Brown has come up with another satirical piece alluding to the rise in GST. We've not heard that one yet.
